Hmm, I get this condescension from Virginia Wade that I find annoying. But I love Carillo, so, there you go. I feel like even whe she's negative, she's funny about it, so I'm with her.

Carillo never liked the electric line calling/challenge system from the start.

Yes, but how come this is never considered when talking about men? Federer and Nadal could easily do the same...

I enjoy Carillo. But she's not an option online (darn job ... couldn't justify USOpenitis today, with the amount of work I have to get done).

Her British accent is the "Wealthy Dowager" type that does sound condescending, but she's very positive about the players.

I know Masha's serves aren't Delpo's. But Vika's returns look an awful lot like Nole's ... so many get back deep and in a hurry.

('course then, on cue, Vika hits a short one that Pova puts away easily)

Maria's wearing her heart on her sleeve right now. Federer is calm and collected until the trophy ceremony and Nadal has the exact same celebrations and grimaces no matter what the occasion.

Also, Maria's endorsements are pointed out in articles a lot more often.
