Stepanek is far and away putting in the weakest performance of the 4 guys on the court. The Bryans, though, are playing at a characteristically high level.

Indeed as the Bryans attacking Stepanek consistently. If Paes get untracked, Bryans better watch out

That was a weird little confrontation on the changeover. Stepanek and Bob Bryan (I think) collided. It was totally bizarre. It looked like Radek just kinda jogged right into Bob's path.

Then Paes got called for one, and has been serving about 6" behind the line since.

Azarenka-sharapova: you edit out the rackets hitting the ball, and it is euro-porn.
Can't stand it. Switched it off.

I may be in the minority, but I'm not bothered at all by the shrieking.

LOL @ Vika warming up by having ballboys at opposite end of court throw balls for her to hit.

In the looks department, it is. I can't recall an era in which tennis had so many beautiful women playing.
Before I get roasted, there are many from the past. But nowadays it is mind boggling.

Both players are undefeated in three setters so it'll be fun to see what happens here. Neither has gone deep here in the last five years either, thanks to injuries and lousy draws and inspired opponents.

The two players are almost exactly tied for most points earned this year. The winner will have a decent lead in the race to #1, but I'm thinking that could be decided at the YEC Championships, which is always nice.

I finally understand how some can find Carillo intolerable.

I had to switch from watching CBS with Carillo/McEnroe/SomeGuy to the USO Live Stream with AwesomeBritishLady and Trautwig. Carillo went on a 3-4 minute RANT about grunting, and then quickly followed it up with a tirade about taking too long to challenge. When McEnroe added some support and also some barbs about the existence of Twitter, I couldn't take it anymore. I took a shower, got a Diet Pepsi, loaded up the USO stream, and was delighted to find AwesomeBritishLady, my favorite commentator ever.

LOVE seeing how much Maria wants this, since she could be riding around Hawaii on a chariot made entirely of diamonds.
