Both players are undefeated in three setters so it'll be fun to see what happens here. Neither has gone deep here in the last five years either, thanks to injuries and lousy draws and inspired opponents.
The two players are almost exactly tied for most points earned this year. The winner will have a decent lead in the race to #1, but I'm thinking that could be decided at the YEC Championships, which is always nice. |

I finally understand how some can find Carillo intolerable.
I had to switch from watching CBS with Carillo/McEnroe/SomeGuy to the USO Live Stream with AwesomeBritishLady and Trautwig. Carillo went on a 3-4 minute RANT about grunting, and then quickly followed it up with a tirade about taking too long to challenge. When McEnroe added some support and also some barbs about the existence of Twitter, I couldn't take it anymore. I took a shower, got a Diet Pepsi, loaded up the USO stream, and was delighted to find AwesomeBritishLady, my favorite commentator ever. |
