Seems as though Big Sexy has remembered that US Open hasn't been played on grass since 1975 - 6-0 first set Ivanovic

Ana bagels Big Sexy in the first set. Let the record show that dating golfers is bad for your game, and breaking up with them has the opposite effect.

Hard to believe Berdych hasn't been beyond the fourth round at the US Open.

I could've lived without knowing that stat.

Just out of curiosity why is Pironkova nicknamed "Big Sexy"? She's not, well...big.

She's 5 11. Fairly big.

Big Moose-olini christened her with the name. He came down with a severe case of Pironkovitis a few years back. If you want a copy of her torrid pictorial in Bulgarian Vogue (banned in the Western world for being too big and too sexy) then he's your man.

First slam QF for Ana since winning the French. Yikes. She should pull out injured now and walk away with some happy memories.

Okay so she is taller than average but when I think big in terms of the women I'm thinking of for example Kvitova or Shvedova, who are both tall and have wide shoulders. On the other hand Pironkova has a medium build. To me she is more of a "Kinda Tall Sexy"

Snappy and rolls off the tongue. Moose might well embrace this new name.

I believe part of the problem may be that 'big' Moose-olini isn't actually all that tall himself.....he's about 5 4. However, he is extremely barrel chested (as befits a former Queen's guardsman), and that is where his own nickname comes from (invented by dropshot). He has no links to the Italian dictator of a similar name. Those rumors were completely unfounded.

ESPN is only saying "health reasons". Cilic/Klizan match is rumored to be moving to Ashe.

Poor Mardy... There are rumors that it's because of heart problems again.

Doesn't really do any favors to Roger either...
