How odd, Murray's match is first up and not second as is usual when they get postponed.

I was worried they might put them second; glad they're up first. My guess is that it's because no one was up late playing (which is what usually is happening when matches get postponed).

Play is about to start and there are no stores open for me to buy a Diet Coke. Oh, the humanity!

At least 100 of us are thinking that now. I knew I shouldn't trust him!

It's not so much the sp. I just don't understand. Mayer is no grass player. But, I guess that's Richie's history.

Gasquet
I don't think the guy wants to be in 1/4 final of a GS ever again. He seems to be happy with his result so far. The 2nd set was his worst I have ever seen at Wimbledon.

Ferrer is so impressive. He works so hard and makes all the right choices. He may become my new favorite on the ATP side.

J Mac is a great commentator. I'm thinking Roddick could have a similar post-tennis career. Hothead on court, classy elsewhere American becomes a surprisingly astute commentator, leading to a brief stint as Davis Cup captain and many years in World Team Tennis, the booth, and the Legend's circuit.

Fun Fact: Ferrer and Del Potro have both made the quarters of the other three slams, but not here at Wimbledon. Thanks ESPN.

Far better performance from Murray than in the last round. Very much in the zone once he got that first set.

Don't know if Marin had got over the Querrey marathon. His forehand is his achilles.....which doesn't make sense, but you know what I mean. So many errors on that side.

Great grass court lesson from Mayer! His backhand was on fire and he demolished Richard from baseline.

Gasquet needs to learn how to 2nd serves and how to take the ball early, otherwise its hard to see him getting past 4th rounds.

But he got to the semis here 5 years ago (dang, it does not seem that long), and when he beat Roddick that one match, it looked like his game was superb on grass.

I'll never understand Gasquet. He had the kind of game that should have made him a top 5 fixture for a number of years.

Cilic gave it a go in the first set but my thinking is once he lost that break Murray got on a bit of a roll and Cilic was probably still exhausted from the Querrey match.

Natural talent, training hard, honing his technique, mastering point strategy -- all are irrelevant when it comes to Gasquet. All of his problems are mental, and it really is a shame. Similar to Ivanovic.

It's because he's watching the SPs and waiting until he can do maximum damage!

And PEHK with a career first 1/4 at a Slam. So happy for him!
