I am not surprised at the record but it do not look good going to the US spring hardcourt month.

He's not really defending anything at IW (lost 2nd round to Milos after getting a 1st round bye), but he's got Semifinal points on the line at Miami. Even if he loses early in both though, he'll likely remain Top 10 for a while, since there is a 700 point differential between #10 and #11.

Yes, he is safe for now but this is a horrible start.

I really thought Davis Cup was going to energize him, but that seems more like an anomaly now. I wonder what's going on. He doesn't seem to be having a good time at all.
