For those that missed it.
After the victory, Rafa was interviewed by Courier. At the end, Jim asked him what kind of advice would he give Murray for his match against Novak. Rafa said some basic things, and then added (non verbatim):
"But don't ask me. I have lost 6 straight times to the guy, so it is really not working for me".

I just love that kind of honesty.

What the heck did Novak eat, disguised by his towel, after the third set? He's moving like it's a new match.

Awww....

Came SO close to seeming prescient in predictions.

Murray kinda flubbed his break chance on the short backhand he netted at 5/5 in the fifth.

I can't believe Andy let go a 5-2 advantage.

I hope, pray, wish that Lendl is, right now, beating Andy Murray to a $"%/@! pulp. And I mean with his fists.
Murray's body language is something that would embarrass Dinara. After that third set, he basically disappeared, only to come back when it was too late (i.e. there was nothing to lose) and then, again, banish.
Not to take anything away from Nole, but Murray will never beat any of the top three as long as he keeps that attitude. By now, it is only that that separates him from the others.
The top 4? It is more like the top 3.5

The thing that has to be the most frustrating for Murray fans is that he clearly CAN win these matches, but it just doesn't happen.

He didn't, Novak was up 5-2 and Andy got it back to 5-5.

And he had a bunch of different break chances on that 5-5 game.

Wertheim's observation of the Nole/Murray semi:

It's nearly impossible to exaggerate the quality of this match. Run through the checklist of what it is we ask of an epic event -- swaying momentum, courage, accuracy, nerve, offense, defense, drama -- and you mark off the boxes, one by one. Stupid ESPN (or maybe TSN?) They scheduled the broadcast for 2.5 hours, I set my PVR to extend another 2 hours, thinking "that should be enough". Oh well, suppose I had to go to work anyway. But those first 3 sets were among the best I've seen all tournament.

I think Murray will make 1 or 2 finals this year and finally grab a major. And I hope it's Wimbledon!

Also, with Novak's health slightly questioned, and Nadal having the extra rest... I have no idea who to pick for the final! But it should be good...

Both are coming in off of high quality matches. Should be a good one, hopefully.

I don't think rest is going to be an issue.
