The first of the two mens' semis, se to be played tomorrow (the other mns semi, from the top half of the draw, will be played Friday Melbourne time/Thursday evening US time.

This is the first time these two have played a non-final match at a Slam since Roland Garros in 2005. And this is only the 2nd time these two have faced each other at the Australian (Rafa won their other AO face off, in the 2009 final).

Nole has Rafa doubting himself when he plays Novak, not when he plays anybody else. And Rafa beat Roger at Abu Dhabi, which was an exhibition, but between these two, there is no such thing as a friendly match.
