Sorry that I'm only seeing this now. For future reference, it looks like the australian open website itself has a livestream but as I have not tried it I cannot vouch for it. I have used livescorehunter in the past as well but I think those streams suffer terribly if the match is a popular one.

How awesome would a Errani-Makarova semi be?

I was hoping for an ARad-Makarova final.

Kei in GS quarters.

I'd be SO happy if he can pull off the upset, but really I don't give him any real chance. The only thing that would be better would be if it somehow managed to be Kei/Ferrer as long as I'm dreaming of impossibilities.

Gawd, that brought back some memories of a tremendous day on the grounds at the US, James. We never even made it in to that match (we spent 4 hours watching DelPo/Simon play what might be the best match I ever saw in person), but I remember GV Girl texting me about all the excitement as Kei was beating David.

Does anyone know what was there in place of a dampener on Maria´s racquet? It looked like a rubber band

ribbon tying the strings together.

I remembered this trick one day when I lost my dampener and I found a thick rubber band in my car. Threaded it through 4 or 5 strings. I'd say it was about 80% effective compared to the usual.
