I never realized this rule existed but it makes perfect sense.
Federer will open against Tsonga on Sunday, while Nadal and Fish will play in the late match. The winners will meet in the next round, ensuring that only one player has two wins heading into the third matches. http://espn.go.com/tennis/story/_/id...ld-tour-finals It says that after one match each in a group the winners play each other and the losers play each other. This way you don't have the possibility the semis being decided before anyone plays a third match (two 2-0s and two 0-2s). So after two matches each it will ALWAYS be 2-0, 1-1, 1-1, 0-2. I never realized that! |

Great observation, Charlie! With his 'news' above, I'm thinking his soon to published article will be entitled 'Ocean Liner hits iceberg - EXCLUSIVE!!!'. |

Great observation, Charlie! Don't encourage him any further, Rabbit. Between his burgeoning writing career, being told of his handsomeness (see the Random, Random thread), and now this praise from you, his ego is fully engorged.....anymore and there might be an explosion. |

It's started! Mirnyi/Nestor up an early break on Bopanna/Qureshi, 3-2.
Fed-Tsonga will play after this match and be available on espn3. (I'm watching the dubs at http://www.livescorehunter.ro/streams/1/lshro1.html) |
