So this may have been answered in another thread, but is the idea to, if everything stays dry, to play both finals on Sunday? Saturday day: Men's semis Saturday night: Women's semis Sunday: Women's final Monday: Men's final http://www.usopen.org/en_US/scores/s...l?promo=subnav |

Why didn't they flop the men's and women's semis so the men's winners today wouldn't have to play first tomorrow, and so the women's finalists wouldn't be getting off the court at night the day before the final? The traditional Super Saturday put the men on first so they'd have more rest before the Sunday final. Same should apply to the women this year, you'd think. |

The errors were:
1) A double-fault 2) An easy shank into the net when Murray was stretched wide off court and all Isner had to do was get the ball over the net. 3) A poor attempt at a drop-shot that didn't even make it to the net. Two of the three errors were on Isner's serve and he made one final return of serve error on match point. |

Poor John Isner, he played his heart out today, and it must suck for him to go out on such a lousy tiebreak. Still, I thought it was a good match. Someone was knocking Isners approach shots yesterday, but they seemed pretty good to me. |
