Wow, I continue to be impressed with how Donald Young has played pressure situations this tournament.

Shame. To this day I say the best mens' match I ever saw live was their 3rd round five-setter on Grandstand back in '08.
Maybe they need to skip ahead to the fifth then.

Seriously, it could very well end up that way. But Gilles would help his cause by actually converting break points.

EDIT: Actually, he's only had two or three. I must be confusing it with all these deuce and 30-all points.

Maybe I should switch to that match. I don't care how he does it, but Donald MUST win. And hopefully he manages to work in a bagel or two (in his favor) so that it feels even more painful and demoralizing for Mary Carillo's love child.

An amazing gutsy performance in the tb. She was up a break and serving for the match. At 30-0 she got sick, almost threw up, and promptly got broken for 6-6.

In the tb, she quickly went down 5-0 but then amazingly won the next 8 of 9 points to take the tb 8-6. Peng had four match points and played pusher ball on each of them. Flavia just dug deep, even got lucky on a miss-hit and played it out.

Amazing work Flavia! Really just amazing!
Yeah thanks for the description. I was wondering what happened and knew I wouldnt dig up a clip.

I actually muted Jim Courier because to him every error of Young's is because he doesn't have the proper guidance and coaching. There may be some truth to it, but not every mistake. There's such a thing as nerves, lack of experience, etc. Plus, what about the winners? Are they simply the result of talent?

Delpo and Young are the same age. Well Delpo is 10 months older, but i would have guessed 2 or 3 years older.

Holy crap. Who just saw the clip of Rafa cramping in his press conference and sliding out of his chair to the floor?

ESPN Deportes just showed Rafa cramping in his press conference. I know it was nothing overly serious, but it was still strange to see him talking then suddenly overtaken by cramps.
