I say the bottom half of the draw comes down to the winner of the Masha/Radwanska the Greater 1/4. And I would be absolutely delighted if Agnieszka can beat Maria in NY again. |

What about that tear in her right knee? Seriously, how do you make a pick from that 1/4? Woz is in the tank at the moment. Li went 1-2 on hardcourts (2-2 if you count a walkover), but both losses were to Stosur. Jarka's a mess, and so is Sveta. Kanepi hasn't played since Wimbledon, and hasn't won a match since the French. Maybe Dani? |

I hear they have good trainers on staff. |

Grass Fairy Tammy T is clearly the favorite in that section, those losses to Craybas and Sevastova were clearly just meant to remove all the pressure |

Or Nuria Llagostera Vives, brimming with confidence after fulfilling her lifelong dream and finally shooting the Playboy centerfold she talked about for years, storms her way through the draw to her first Slam final. |

Everyone is writing off the defending champ. I think Miles has a good chance to defend. This. Clearly Miles has this in the bag. I mean, his summer was a bit of a mixed bag, winning some, losing some, but I think he's the clear favourite here. It'll totally be a Miles vs. Scheepers final. Me and Ree in the final? Alves better be in the chair and Ito better be calling the lines because this match-up will be epic, as every screaming winner will be followed by a hotmess error, leading up to a third set TB that I will take 21-19. :fistpump: BTW, since TAT is my apparel sponsor, Kirkus better come up with some fresh threads for me to sport during the trophy presentation. |
