Am watching the ladies' final in 3D in a cinema in central London on Saturday. Rather excited, even if I paid WAY over the odds for a ticket..
How was it?

My friend went to the showing in Indianapolis, and he was the only person in the theater. Said it was fine, but that the image of the ball trailed a bit, making it look like there were two. The camera angle wasn't high over the court. On the plus side, it was BBC commentary. And they stayed with it through the awards ceremony.

wow...almost makes me wish I experienced it. If it wasnt such a far drive for me I probably would have done it.

Hopefully next year the technology will be even better!

Default Wimbledon 3D Men's Semifinals + Men's & Women's Finals
Did somebody already mention that the men's semifinals and the men's and women's finals will be broadcast in 3D on TV and in movie theaters?

I think it was mentioned, but I forgot about it.

Thanks for the reminder. I somehow doubt it will be in my area. Which is a shame, since I actually do have a 3D TV.

Is anyone planning to attend the screening in movie theatres?

I saw the prices, at least in the AZ area are $18 for adults
