Default Rafa/Nole: WHO YA GOT?
Battle of the 1's - this weeks vs. next weeks, and winners of the first two Slams of 2011. No need to break down anything about these two. Just a matter of your call for the final.

Chill the champagne, Moose. You will celebrate tomorrow.
Rafa's forehand VS Novak's backhand = even
Novak's forehand VS Rafa's backhand = Novak all the time.

That will be the difference.

I think Rafa will be out to avenge this year's losses against Nole. Rafa will frustrate Nole with his fabulous defense (that's not to say Nole won't defend like the dickens, 'cause he rocks), and Rafa will dig his way to a win.

Rafa in 4. Rafa posted on FB that he was just voted for ESPY and that it would be a driving force for him to win Wimby. Plus I think Nole is kinda expected to win considering he's beaten Rafa 4 times in Finals this year, and that will backfire.

I won't be able to see it though.

MEH!

I'll go with Rafa in 4. It should be a high-quality match, but I'm picking this result because of the surface.

Relatively easy win for Nole. Rafa was almost helpless on his most favorite surface, I see no reason to expect something different on his second best.

I won't be home during the day tomorrow, but expect to see the outcome outlined above when I get back.

I have found my contest schizo. I think if Rafa wins in 5 I would win the Skan contest...so my vote is Nole in 3.

I'm thinking... Rafa in 4.

But... What I want is Djoko in 5 extremely exciting sets! Who knows? I got what I wanted today! Maybe I'll get what I want tomorrow too!

ETA: Also, super thrilled that I'll be back in Madrid tomorrow! So I'm gonna be hunt for a Sports bar! (If Rafa loses... I might have to edge out a little early. )

Rafa is as good on grass as he is on clay. Novak is still much better on clay and hard than he is on grass. Rafa wins in 4+ sets.

Novak in 4, dropping only the 3rd set.
