Craig posted yesterday something about Jo trying to become a man.
Well, so far, he has not even reached puberty.

So. At about 8:02 this morning I had this mini panic attack when I thought, "Maybe since Roger is out, Djokovic will relax and bring a good attitude and focus on the task at hand like he did through the first 5 months or so of the year."

And even after getting down an early break, that's precisely what has happened. I just didn't anticipate that until it was too late.

And the dumbest double fault in the history of tennis certainly didn't hurt Novak's cause. LOL!

Haha. I'm not a big fan of either of them, I was just hoping for a competitive, exciting match. And currently, it's rather dull. Hopefully the second semifinal will be better.

I'm at my office, so not able to watch, Nelslus (I had the choice of taking off and coming in tomorrow to do 2nd quarter reports, or working today and going to the shore for the weekend tomorrow, which I chose).

I was not too concerned when Nole was down the early break, but posted that when he got the break back. Still, this match is far from over, if Wednesday was any indication. I'd half expect a Serbian siesta this set, but I think Djokovic is determined to get the #1 ranking, and I think that will help him stay focused these next couple of sets.
.....Heck, enjoy your time, Moose, my friend. Your guy is an entirely different player now. Siestas ain't gonna happen here.

No way I'm going to be able to cheer for Rafa, Murray, or Djokovic...Tsonga better make a comeback. (What a cynical old bitter fart I am )

Thanks, Nelslus. As a fan, this season has been incredible not just for the giant step forward in his game, but also for the maturity that seems to have accompanied it. I have liked him since I first set eyes of him, but now he's a player I can both enjoy, and be proud of.

Miracles don't happen every day. Jo is a fantastic player, but currently still technically and mentally (most importantly) a level below the top 4.

......As I just posted on Facebook:

‎And THIS is why one should be careful about rooting on upsets at Slams. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga= Your ATP Dominika Cibulkova. :-( (Note to self: WHY- I just think I've found my new TAT signature. ) And Novak/Rog would have been SUCH a better match.
