I just find her completely unwatchable for no apparent reason, which bothers me more than her beating up on a fave. She's maybe not the usual type of player that I would like - dominating with such power. I like her because I see her potential for more than just that. She seems a pretty sweet girl too (in so much as you can tell these things from a distance). |

My favorite thing about Petra, and why I can't help liking her, is that she just shows no fear. I admire that. I hope she takes it all! Shame that Azarenka df'd on match point. |

There will be a reason in there somewhere. Everyone is perfectly entitled to have their own likes and dislikes though. Similarly, her personality is nice, but bland. Meh. |

I do have a personal bias since sitting through that awful match against Safina at the 2009 USO, but usually when I don't favor a player, their game can still work for me. And the power game usually appeals to me to an extent. I think my problem is that her big weapon, the forehand, effective as it is, is just not explosive. She just hits hard and gets good placement + lefty bonus. The left handedness is part of the appeal for me. Lefties tend to root for lefties. |
