1 Victoria Azarenka (BLR) [4] vs Petra Kvitova (CZE) [8]

2 Maria Sharapova (RUS) [5] vs Sabine Lisicki (GER)

The Committee, while adhering as closely as possible to the order of play given, is unable to guarantee that it will be maintained in its entirety. This may result in matches being moved from one court to another.

When was the last time a wildcard made it into the semis of a slam or won it? I think Ivanisevic did it, right? What about for women?

Zheng made the semis as a wild card in Wimbledon 2008.

Lisicki is only the third wild card to make the Wimbledon semis on either side

Wife's working so I think I'll record the matches and watch later. I'm betting on an all-blonde final

Yeah, but I'm not clairvoyant enough to pick which blondes

My SP and predictions say Kvitova and Sharapova...my Green Acres team says Azarenka and Lisicki...so I'm all over the place on who to cheer for.

OH MY GOSH!

They just said that Kvitova's average groundstroke speed was 77 MPH.

I am POSITIVE that Tsonga had the same stat at one point yesterday.

We know she's streaky, but when Petra's on, there's simply nothing you can do.

Okay, I'm not expecting Venus to win any more slams, but this ESPN montage is acting like both of them are dead.

Maybe they just didn't want to let their nifty montage go to waste? It was very strange.

She is lighting those 2nd serve returns UP!

Edit: She lit that 1st serve return up to bring up break point! Sheesh!

It's Dick Enberg's last Wimbledon, I think, so, actually, in this "Reflections" segment he gets to do, they're trying to act like HE's dying

Vika has hung in well. But as Craig says, when Petra is on, there's not much many can do.

I've been trying to avoid loving Kvitova because it's too odd, since she looks so similar to one of my ex'es, but I can't help it.

If she loses this match I will be devastated. Come on PETRA!!!

I just find her completely unwatchable for no apparent reason, which bothers me more than her beating up on a fave.
