Yeah, I'm at the point where an umpire needs to talk to Marion about this asinine jumping. For someone who can be so endearing in interviews, she annoys the hell out of me the minute she takes the court.
In other news, what is with the royals this tournament? I can't remember seeing so many of them. Princess Beatrice today, sans fascinator, unfortunately. |

I'm a little surprised by the consensus of love for Sabine. Maybe because she had a tough year with injury and it is nice to see her on the comeback trail. |

Re. Sabine - people like a story of someone overcoming adversity. However, she seems a genuine sort, so I'm pretty sure she would be popular anyway.
Re wanting to win this thing. From what I've seen, they all want it. Some are just more capable of achieving it than others (not that there's a huge amount between most of them). |

I certainly won't mind if Sabine wins, but I think Petra's the future of the WTA, and there could not be a greater oppurtunity that this remaining draw for her to win her first Slam. At some point, someone younger than 25 needs to win a Slam again (I guess the last under 25 was Sveta at the '09 French?).
