Maria just won. But really impressed by Laura. Such a huge difference between her and Simona Halep yesterday. Even though she won a set, Simona didn't seem to have any weapons to threaten the top players and seemed pretty intimidated by Serena's power and aggression. Totally not the case with Laura today.

Well, the good news for Vera is that she dropped the first set to Pironkova in the semis here last year, as well.

Yea, but while everyone thought Tsvetana had not done jack since last Wimbledon, she was actually saving her energy to get revenge in this very match
