A few bad misses near the end, but from what I saw, Wozniak played really well, especially for someone who had only won one main draw tour match since last year's Wimbledon. She's been suffering from a wrist injury and another ailment since then. It's a shame she had to run into her nemesis in he second round, but she sure looks like she's ready to take her place back on the tour.

I thought Cornet has picked up her game a bit this season. Bageled in the first set by Llagostera Vives

Alize is down 2 breaks in the 2nd after eating a bagel in the first
Both breaks came on Double faults

Vives has played very well, with great feel for the ball

On Tennis Channel, Mary Carillo just had an interesting discussion with Navratilova and Wozniacki about a potential coaching partnership. I thought both Carillo and Nav were laying into Woz pretty hard about her need to be more agressive and her overloaded (in their opinion) schedule. Impressed with Caroline's poise in her defense of herself. Navratilova also said if she had to play in today's WTA, she would skip or tank a match in a mandatory event if she felt it interfered with the schedule she wanted to play. Anyone else see this? thoughts?

I didn't see this, and probably would have missed it on replay tonight - thanks for the briefing. This is more content than you'll get from Justin Gimelstob's entire career. It's hard to agree with tanking, ever, but it's even harder to second-guess Navratilova.

I'd love to see Navratilova coach someone, but not Wozniacki.
