The warm up hadn't begun and Cornet was arguing with Alison Lang about something. The camera person got closer and it turns out Alize had a cap with writing on it. The tournament director came out to explain she can't wear it, but they can get her a Roland Garros cap. She ended up taking a black visor out of her bag and coloring it in with a black marker Alison Lang had. They cut to Voracova looking at her camping and shaking her head in disbelief.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure he would love to play one more Wimbledon though...

Stosur is looking and playing great, her backhand is really firing for her.

Well, Sam S. is doing enough to win, but the match is a bit of a bore.

Voracova hitting 300 percent of all balls to the Cornet backhand.

I really hope I don't watch my SP pick flame out live.

I agree, but I don't know how many more hip operations he can actually go through.

On the other hand, Sam got the first set without too much trouble. Hopefully the next will be as easy.

Stosur is playing well. Certainly among favorites for the title if she can only conquer her emotions...

Um, yeah. I picked Dellacqua to win that one in my bracket.

But... looks like Pironkova came back from her 1-4 deficit!

She did! There were several 15-30 moments after that, but now she's ahead and within two points of the set. (which I feel she must take a.s.a.p.)
