"Accidental" my ass.

Either way, I hope she seeks the help she needs and gets through this.

Wertheim said that the area where she was picked up at a hotel (Riviera Beach) is pretty seedy...

From Kim Clijsters on Twitter

Clijsterskim

I haven't been able to stop thinking about Jen! I hope she makes it through ok and can get some help!
At one time they were close. They would practice together, and each had nice things to say aobut the other. Probably one of Jen's few friends on the tour.

How did she accidentally overdose? I don't understand. Did she trip over something?

There's little more info, but suspicions of a suicide attempt

Two stories from a local insider:

One of my first thoughts when I read the story last night was wondering what she was doing in a hotel room in Riviera Beach. Wertheim is right: it is a high crime area, low income area. Perhaps not a bad place to go if you wanted to purchase drugs...

But the articles I've read since then indicate that she was in her condo on Singer Island. While Singer Island is kind of part of Riviera Beach (I think, I can't say I know many specifics about the are), the northern part (where the links indicate she was) doesn't seem to have the same problems as Riviera Beach or the southern part of the island.

Yeah, apparently, initial reports were wrong

Once press agents and personal representatives start spinning the story, I always worry that the person who seems so badly in need of help might not get that help, because they have to back up the story that was spun on their behalf.

I'm with you Ti on the initial report. You don't accidentally overdose on prescription drugs. You might accidentally overdose on prescription drugs in combination with a bunch of other substances, or you deliberately overdose.

While I don't think this is situation in Jennifer's case, I think it is possible to accidentally overdose on prescription medication. When you take something regularly it can be difficult to remember if you did it that day or not (I know I have this problem sometimes, I've even counted out a whole bottle of pills in an attempt to figure it out). People can also misread the label in regards to amount or frequency not to mention mix ups with doctor's offices or pharmacies. I don't think it's common, but I don't think it is impossible either.

As an aside, I think m8s comment on initial reports was just in response to my post on her location.
