THIS I think is more a reference to Petr Korda, no?
Yeah, sorry, I don't remember these players too much.

Korda! Thank you. I couldn't think of his name.

Isn't it Peter "I was busted for using steroids so I retired" Korda?
Yup. Nandrolone. But, in his own words...

“I have no idea how this drug got into my blood stream. I did not know what they were talking about when they started using the word nandrolone.

“I hated suggestions I was a cheat although some players were very vocal about me.

“Greg Rusedski was one of those. I do not know exactly what he said, but I am aware it was not particularly nice.”

“I don’t know the situation with Rusedski – but he will always have a battle to clear his name,” Korda told The Sun."

Ghehehehehe... Still, I think Kimiko knew exactly what she was getting into and after a rough start to her comeback, she's probably proven herself right and a ton of people wrong. I seriously doubt that a lot of retirees from Kimiko's first period as a pro could find this level of dedication and determination again. Muster, as far as that is concerned, is one of a select few I could actually see winning a couple of matches. I remember him talking about sitting on his porch in Australia, sipping away at bottles of VB, feeling rather chubby and (more or less) suddenly wanting to get fit and back on court again (which eventually saw him join the seniors tour). He wants something and he goes for it - all out. As much as I don't care for him as a tennis personality, I can really appreciate that side of him.

In short: enjoy your return to action, Thomas. We'll be watching the scoreboard. Just don't think you can win a match at Wimbledon.
Well said - pretty much exactly how I feel.

I really never liked him that much when he was on top of the game. He got on my bad side when he beat Michael Chang (at the time, my 9 year old self's favorite player) in that French Open final. I think I'm still a little annoyed at him...

but can he make it to the main tour? I mean if he beats Bogdanovic or Jamie Murray, big deal!
I'd love to see him get a wild card somewhere in a 250 tournament after he gets accustomed to 2010 competitive tennis and play against-say Nikolay Davydenko !!

One of Andre's favorites. Wonder what he'd have to say if he were still writing his book.

Actually isn't Korda coaching Stepanek or one of the other Eastern European players?

Niland has actually had a pretty decent year.He won a challenger in Israel (hardcourt) and has several wins over top-200 players ranked above him. Heck, he even beat Schuettler. So, while this is somewhat poor start, I see possibilities
