Considering the grass plays like a hardcourt now, I shouldn't be surprised that Pironkova is taking it to Vee.

But I would say Pironkova's best surface is clay, Jessie. 3 of her 6 ITF titles were on clay, and her best performance at a Premiere event was on clay as well.

Venus has decided to give all her fans heart attacks today. She was threatening to give away her first service game in the second set with unforced errors again before Pironkova declined with a polite error of her own.
