Is there something I should know about Kvitova, or were you just hoping to see Vika through? |

We watched her beat Dinara at the USO, in, I think, the most painful match I've ever seen. Her ability to have 1-2 good results per year, always against my favorites, then suck and mess up my predictions the rest of the year have put her on my s*** list |

I like Kvitova, even though she dumped me out of FO SP by losing to Sophie Ferguson. Wildly inconsistent game (even within the course of a match), but easy on the eyes (she lost like 25 pounds last winter - much leaner than her photos, and her kit at Memphis was pretty. Yes, I'm that shallow) and pretty good shot selection (her head ahead of her ability to execute -- which is pretty much how I felt about Isner at the time, actually).

...and, speaking of wildly inconsistent players, Chardy is up 2-0 in the fourth set against Ferru. There's one where I wish both guys could win. Bellucci not even close to being competitive with Soderling, looks like |

nice moniker! Jeremy now 4-2 in the 4th. The sad thing is, I'll believe he'll serve out the set only if it actually happens, and not a point before. Rooting for French players has a way of doing that to a girl. |
