I honestly cannot remember the last time Federer played on anything other than Centre Court.

(Nadal had a showing at Suzanne Lenglen in the French, so maybe they're balancing the books?)

It happened recently at the French Open. At Wimbledon, It will probably be the first time since 2003

Omess, I really believe you're wrong about this. I distinctly remember a 2007 Wimbledon match on Court 1. Anyways, I can't find a reference for that, but I found that (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/tenni...terstitialskip) he also played as late as his quarterfinal on Court 1 in 2005. I don't see what the big deal is about this.

And finally the win. She should have managed it 3 games ago!

I'm watching the Peer match since I have her in the pool. (Damn. Picking the Peer/Monfils double for the pool sure is pushing the limits of testing my karma. Have I been meaner to any tennis players than those two?)

Yeah. It's not going well. Kerber is playing quite well. Shahar is timid--has been ever since she broke to get things back on serve in the second--and she hasn't won a game since. Kerber will have to mentally check out/choke for Shahar to pull this one out.

llodra has always been a very good grass player, Amélie ou pas!and he is a lefty.Roddick lacks match practices. so for now it's as much Roddick's "fault".

Too bad Peer was determined to hand it back.

Ain't it? It's hard to hold serve when you can't win two points in a row.

As a Shahar fan this is so frustrating
She plays some great points, but the lack of focus and inconsistency is so distressing.

I think Molik lost to Greta Arn (Scoreboard won't update with the final score)

I've noticed the same thing this morning with Justine and others (Shvedova and a bunch of doubles matches right now as well). Score just stops at match point and sits there.
