I cannot believe that they put Murray on Court 1. When's the last time that happened here?

I'm really surprised they have Soderling over Murray for Centre Court.

Absolutely. I don't ever remember Henman playing on Court 1. Even Robson got Centre.

Are they miffed about something?

My first guess was this is about Murray deciding to skip the next Davis Cup tie. Of course, pure speculation. I just find it odd.
:
Speaking of the British Davis Cup team: There is a long post-match interview with Dustin Brown on the Wimbledon site and apparently there is some speculation about Brown taking a British passport and playing for the UK in the future. (A grandparent was British.) He doesn't seem to be too happy with the Jamaican tennis federation and is not considering playing for Germany because he is only the #13 in national ranking. He would become the British #2 if he makes the change...

Kei vs Nadal should be really fun. Bad draw for Kei, but I could see him pulling an upset. If he does, though, he had better advance pretty far.

I'd actually love to see Kei win... but don't tell anyone that.

I'm confused. I thought he was going to play the relegation match even though he "thought they could win without him".

He recently announced that he won't play the relegation match.

oh really? I thought I read an article last week complaining about him not playing... Don't remember where it was, though, so I could very well be wrong. If so, sorry for the confusion.

Oh... I missed that. Thanks!

They'll never forgive him if they actually drop to the lowest level.

Maybe they're just trying to take the pressure off him. Tee hee, tee hee.

Or maybe Murray doesn't want to have the Queen in the audience?

Apparently there was talk that if the Queen was present he wouldn't bow to her. He tweeted that the talk was just that, that he would bow to her. I think I posted the tweet in the Tennis Random, Random thread.
