For a moment i was surprised to see court 12 get Cilic, Berdych and Henin, but then I realized there is no court 3 or 4 ( IIRC these were the two biggest courts after the 3 show courts). seems like they are building a new, bigger court 3 for the 2011 tournament.

Thanks for the explanation. I was surprised to see the above players on outer courts as well.

So, the old 3 (which is the old 2) is Court 12 now? Wonder what happened to 4.

weren't 3 and 4 right next to each other? I assume they are replacing both courts with one new big show court. (BTW I think #12 is were we watched the match from your avatar pic)

So, they actually tore them down? But is it enough to replace two show courts with 1?

I guess we'll see it all in tomorrow's coverage.

Good memory:

Court 12
12:00 Start
Ladies' Doubles - 2nd Round
Svetlana Kuznetsova(RUS)[16] /Amelie Mauresmo(FRA)[16] def. Laura Robson(GBR) /Georgie Stoop(GBR) 6-3 6-4

I hope our fave Court 18 security guard is still there!

Building work on the new No.3 Court remains on schedule, with the outer structure of the stadium now largely complete.

Construction has been continuing since the end of the 2009 Championships, with the 2,000 seater stadium – built over the old Court 2 and Court 3 - ready for the 2011 Championships

Glad you explained things. I was ready to hate Wimbledon organizers another year for throwing top women on outside courts.

You think Riske can do it to her twice in a month?

So the famous court #2 "Graveyard of Champion" is gone??? If not or if the ghost of court #2 is still there, i wish good luck to Kim, Lleyton and Scavio... The 2 ex-fiance is playing on the same court...

can Marion lose? According to radio wimby, it's not going that easily for her against "the-lady-from-Germany".

GO MARION!

Me...I'm not sure if it will happen or not - but I steered well clear of that match in the SP. I picked a Bondarenko, so I'll be fine.
