She's tied with CSN for my champion pick, so....

Now I doubledare you to pick number 2 seed () Schnyder
So you get someone who had a double bagel today...and I get someone who played three sets against Greta Arn?

I made sure to pick Cornet to lose to her in the final so I have some stability in my picks....

She has one of the more interesting stories on the WTA tour. She was playing for Germany earlier in her career. I've never known why, but it always seemed like she was playing only a few tournaments each year. Then she stopped altogether, apparently because of lack of success. When she unretired, she won one tournamen and was ranked around 100. Then she started playing for Hungary. Then she became kind of unsuccessful again, lingering around No. 200. Puzzling, but she is still playing, albeit without much success.

She is one of those persons I would like to see an interview of. I would love to know why she continues playing, what her motivation is etc.
I actually have a DVD copy of the final that Arn won (AND arn had to qualify for this tournament- Estoril in 2007)......beating Azarenka. (Not kidding.)

Lucky you! I'm so envious. In a couple of years people will pay lots of money for this tennis classic!

Did someone from TAT go to Morocco(or anywhere in Africa) this week?

Pous Tio 6-3,6-2 over Medina Garrigues.

I was in Africa three weeks ago. Could it be that TaT's power has increased that much?

You didn't take her after double daring me to take Schnyder? BOO!

And looks like anyone who took my dare is regretting it...

And also it appears taking Cornet in the final is my more unique pick (only one with her there!)

Doesn't matter either way...as CSN retired - up 6-5 from the looks of it too. At least you got the part of them being tied right.

Somehow I have all 4 of my SF's alive still!
