According to Irina's livejournal, as of March 17, the doctor told Davydenko he'll be out at least a month.

Thanks! Google translator does a decent job with Russian I think. (Sveta's tweets helped give it a few tries.)

Does Irina say Kolya's hoping to be back by WG? As in ARAG?

No, she says she hopes he'll get to compete at RG (not meaning he won't be back before then, just that RG is important). But on re-reading, it says he'll be able to play with his left hand in a month (from March 17), not even that he'll compete

I may have over-estimated the Google translator.

Waiting for the girls.
I was sitting in the lunch, waiting for the girls playing in tennis, and then Nick and Roger will play), am a fan of Vic, very I like it) On the other hand sit Marri or Myurei )))))( their huge team) infect as Andy is like my mother as two drops of water). Near lucky Lee is sitting in an Internet, she is so tiny, straight kid), and beat Venus long, fighting a girl). They are already beginning to enrage their neighing for the entire lunch, but oh well go for a walk.</span>

Rafa really SHOULD avoid writing in English.

LMAO, I really like how they translated "Na Li" as "lucky Lee" and that Andy Murray's "mom" became her mom.

Who did she/google translator mean by "Vic"? I assumed based on comments following on Murray, it was Nole. The idea that Irina is a fan of Nole and doesn't much care for Murray is too amusing to pass up.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Google was mistranslating Vika (Azarenka) who was on court at the time (losing to Serena, I guess).

She was just saying Murray (there are arguments on spelling in Cyrillic because of the British/US pronunciation differences) was sitting across from her with his large team and they were loud. And that he looks just like his mommy.

I love how it actually "translated" Kolya into "Nick"

Ah thanks, makes perfect sense. The date on the blog (Jan. 27th, 2010 at 5:37 AM) says it should be around AO Quarters. I should stop letting my imagination get the better of me.
