So if I nap from like 12-3:00 AM, I can get up and watch Henin/Dementieva, give or take two hours there, then sleep from 5-8:30 before getting up for class.

I tentatively plan to be in chat.

I actually briefly considered doing this, before remembering that we don't get overnight tennis coverage here in Canada. In fact, because TSN and TSN2 are showing hockey and basketball each of the next two nights, we don't even get tennis coverage starting until 9:30 or 10:00 eastern time the next couple of evenings. But they do have 4 1/2 hours of (tape-delayed) coverage they show each weekday afternoon (from the evening session, I think, although I think I've been burned on this before). So I could record Henin-Dementieva tomorrow afternoon, stay away from tennis news all day, and then watch the match in the evening rather than following the livestreams from Thursday morning play.

Since I work at home on Wednesdays, I'm in for an all night haul. Of course, I don't work at home on Tuesdays, which didn't stop me from staying up all night last night...

It was the first place my eyes gravitated to when the draws were released. I think it's pretty much a must-watch.

Yeah, unless Blake-del Potro gets intersting, I'm sleeping 11-3 tonight.

Guess we're on the same wave length. I'm 10 minutes away from trying to take a nap. Just wanted to get my SP pick in first.

I'll TIVO Elena/Justine, and watch with my breakfast tomorrow.

It's too tough waking up in the middle of the night during Week 1 - you sort of "Break The Dam" the first time you do it for the Aussie, and then you start waking up in the middle of the night every night afterwards to watch tennis. So I try to hold off middle of the night tennis until the 2nd week (unless I have to do it for PEHK/Rafa).

I've generally found Justine and food to be a pretty bad mix...

I'm finding it extremely difficult to be awake at 3am these days. I go to bed late (watching tennis) and wake up early like at 5 ish.....watching tennis that's about all I can do except when the quarters come on...I'll be setting my alarms and of course I'll be watching the semi's and the finals but this first week? Ugh. It's so darn hard....

I'm going to TRY to watch Elena / Justine but I really don't want to. Elena is on my skan team. I already lost Sharapova and I'm double screwed if Elena loses....I don't think I CAN watch even if I'm awake.....

I really don't want to miss it. I have a hard time watching matches that aren't live, so I'm pretty sure I'll be up, too (unless I forget to hit the snooze button).

I am not doing any good work this week, I'm telling you ...

I often stay up until 2 am even when there isn't tennis on, so it's not too much of an adjustment for me.

Just got up from what turned out to be a 2 hour nap, so I might be able to stay up after all. (I was awakened 2 hours early this morning by a truck driver hauling a grader. He parked in front of my house and started doing something that was metal on metal. Big metal sounds. One does not go back to sleep after 10 minutes of that.)

At least he was gone shortly, unlike the Illinois car that was left in front of my house for 11 months a few years ago. This town doesn't have any laws about that. If it's licensed and in running order, it can stay. Finally got rid of it by calling the Illinois State Patrol, who discovered it was registered to a non-existent company. They called our police, who finally hauled it away.

Good morning!

Pavs-Kuz is a ridiculous RLA match, but I guess its their way of making up for putting Svetlana on Show Court 2 for her first round, even though she was playing an "Aussie."

So I see Caro has still not developed any weapons. Every point is in AWoz's control or CWoz having to hit it right in the corner to gain control.

Aleks nets an easy overhead from the front court to get broken. 4-2 Caro, who's looking a lot like Vaidisova to me. Maybe it's just the fuzzy stream.
