When I started working on predictions, I was expecting to pick a final of Vika over Caroline (like I haven't gone to the Vika well far too often already). But after checking out her results since the summer, I backed off a bit (so much that I predicted Jankovic, who did after all win a big tournament a couple of weeks back to defeat her in the round-robin

) and went with Dementieva, as I have no confidence in most of the others at this point.
