Default MAGIC MOMENTS
I haven't seen any threads like this. If so, feel free to merge.

I surf online every now and then for great tennis exchanges and memorable on-court moments. Not whole matches or whole sets. Just magic moments that make you go wow. They don't have to be Slam championship points to be thrillers. As you'll see from my first links.

If you have links of favorite points or games or verbal assaults you want to share, go nuts. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd love to see them. With some of the stinky matches we're forced to watch, it's nice to see something special.

2004 SAN DIEGO TIEBREAK - ZVONAREVA v. MYSKINA (pt. 1)

Pt. 2

pt. 3

OMG ... I remember this match, too. The only way I could watch TTC at the time was up at my folks' place, from the giant satellite dish in their backyard.

The first set was really nothing special, but the rest of it was so dramatic.

I love that by part 2, every other point is a match point, and you know there's a whole part 3 still to come!

Wasn't that Clement and Llodra on the far side?

It looked like Clement at least but I thought the clip might be too old for that?

Clement serves to Santoro, whose partner Llodra hits the lefty forehand that hits the bird. By the fact that the match is on a show court at the Aussie Open, I'm guessing Clement is playing with Julien Boutter, when they lost in the semis to Santoro and Llodra.

Maria Sharapova is so endearing in all those videos. Remind me again why no one likes her?

Yes if he knew what was going on with Pete; no if he did not.

Agreed, of course. I'm sure he didn't know. Which is strange to me as they really made a big deal of how close they were, how close they were with each other's coaches, etc. Pete really must've been beyond private.
