Is it usually the case that the top half semi is first and then the other semi? Or is there no such fixed rule? Or is it different for the men and the women? |

Combine what I saw in person, with what I saw on TV, add in the return of my all time favorite female player, and have her reach the semis, add some Cinderella stories, some big upsets, ESPN performing above my (admitedly low) expectations, and I have to say this has been the most enjoyable USO for me since 2005.

I really don't think there is a specific rule, Rabbit - you'll note tht when they were playing Friday, Kim/Serena were up first, but now that it's been moved to Saturday, they are the late match. I believe the only reason the Serena/Kim semi was scheduled first is because of the weather. If only one match was to be played/completed during the broadcast window, CBS wanted it to be that one. Also, I'm sure the language in CBS' contract requires them to carry at least on semi live and that is why Rafa/Gonzo were originally scheduled to go up second on Ashe. |

Serena twittering constantly through the morning: http://twitter.com/serenajwilliams . I sometimes feel kind of bad for her, because she's completely exposed to snarky commenters who try to pretend they are witty at her expense. And she gets abused if she doesn't reply to all of the million people messaging her.
