Default 2009 USO Thank you! / Odd comments thread
First, the odd comment: If I figure this one out well, Roger now is the only man in the Open era (I haven't checked prior to this) that has a full set of trophies from all four Slams; he has at least one winner and one runner up from them all. I think he joins Graff, Martina and Evert.

The thanks: with around 800 players in the SP, plus the loonies of the YCWJ, the rain, the delayed schedules, the TAT crew still ticked like a.... well, swiss watch.
You guys are absolutely the top. And my thanks for that. This was a really enjoyable slam.

What a nice thing to say, Ponchi. Thank you. This was our biggest SP in pur 5 year history of the Game, and it could not have been more challenging, and more fun. And to have only a handful of winners on the womens side, and only 1 on the mens, made it that much more special.

Agreed, ponchi! A lot of work goes on behind the scenes, so it's always great when someone expresses appreciation for it.
