Go Carly and Travis! I was bummed that Parrott went out so early in mens doubles. Winning mixed would be a wonderful thing.

Gotta say, I've been pretty hard on the Williams sisters over the years and the brand of doubles they've played. But I really enjoy the way they've integrated more traditional doubles tactics into their doubles matches... It's nice to see.

Well it wasn't much, but ESPN did give us a 5-minute peek into wheelchair tennis. Got to see Esther Vergeer and find out what the rules were.

No big surprise that Brad had never heard of Esther Vergeer...

Just as children shouldn't access to firearms, poisonous chemicals, and matches, Brad Gilbert shouldn't have access to a microphone. He has been especially annoying today. And that's saying a lot.

This behavior should get you the prize as the biggest hardcore tennis fan for sure There are a lot of diehard fans on this site, but this is the first I've heard of someone PIPing wheelchair tennis online. Very impressive!

Congrats to Carly & Travis. Totally outplayed Cara & Leander.

If Melanie is Diet Justine, could Carly be Diet Lindsay? (Good serve & return, great hands at net, not the greatest mover on court)

Congratulations to Carly and Travis. Travis served well and Carly knocked off the volleys for winners. Overall, as Scotty said, they outplayed Cara and Leander.
