No one will replace Martina
But Hingy replaces others very frequently . Well she's on a hiatus with Radek for now. Let's see how long that lasts.

Thanks for spoiling the beautiful sentiment

With "replace" I meant I will need someone else once she is no longer playing. And it might be soon

Oh Marat, you are such a puzzle, you are tough to cheer for!

I really want to dump Marat, but I need him for my strip poker team!

Yeah, I know, but I still don't think I'll let any WTA player get near that pedestal

Muller? I know! She's my favorite.

Love how she gets all the way to a final and wins one game against Szavay. Not to take anything away from Agnes, but which one played like a top-30 player?

Muller is such a waste of space.

No doubt my all time at-the-time heartache dump-her player was.....Monica.

It was the 2000 French QF that sealed the deal. Don't get me wrong- I have never and will never stop loving Monica. And, obviously, so much of went wrong with her career post-stabbing was not her fault. And, thank GOD she at least got the 96 Aussie title, such as it was. But, as a fan, I just could not take all of those huge losses over and over again. The Steffi US Open finals, the 98 French final with Arantxa......and finally, the French match with Mary. Now, I'm thrilled with hindsight that Pierce squeezed out one more singles Slam win- BUT, this match upset me so much (baby nelslus can tell you that our bedroom door has a permanent hideous almost-hole gash in it from me slamming it a tad hard after this match), that I just could not root Monica on anymore as a fan. THEN, of course, V came on strong, and that was that.

I'm also in the dump-James bandwagon. James and Ginepri want to get sprawled on the ground naked, I'm a fan again. But, I am so tired of James playing such unbelievably brain dead tennis. This 1 for 50 break points crap, the no wins in five set matches, those lovely 2-points-away-from-the-win-OOPS-let-me-find-a-REAL-creative-way-to-lose-this time moments.....UGH.

NOW, Marion, dear, get to winnin' again FAST, 'cause we iz a fickle crew.

P.S. BTW, don't kid yourselves. If you really have loved a player.....you'll always be stuck in some way shape or form. Sure, you can take the fan-dom down a notch or two. BUT.....you'll still always remember those hideous losses and cringe.

Example: Venus Williams.

I love Venus to death, and I will ALWAYS be her no.1 fan (yeah, that's right, I said it bitches), but some of those losses make me cringe ex: AO 06.

ANYWHO....

I never stopped believing her, though, and look what I got out of it!

She's this year's Wimbledon champion!! WOOT!! (plus, I got a predictions week win out of it! )

RIP Myskina and Gambill. Although, JM still is welcome at my poker table; he just needs to make room for Volandri.

might be the last chance for people to toss some faves before the Open. Are you sure you wanna carry around that baggage through another Slam?
