Flavia Pennetta (ITA)[10] v. Serena Williams (USA)[2]
A lot of people have pencilled in a Clijsters/Serena semi. I think it might not be that simple. I'll say at least one of these goes three sets.

Can't you schedule some Farmville crops for harvest around 3 am? It would give you something to do during changeovers.

She's looked incredibly sharp and focused so far. Let's hope she's in the same mood tomorrow night!

Yup, that's annoying. What about going to bed early and waking up at 3:30am? that's probably what I'll do. And I hope the match is over before I take my daughter to school. Last year Rafa played last against Fish and the match finished around 8am here.

Go Kimmie. Go Serena. That is the match I have been anticipating since Kim announced the comeback, and I am so excited it could possibly be the semi of my favorite Slam that it happens.

For anyone so disposed, here's a great NY Times article on Na Li.

M8, perhaps you should just move on to, well, Melbourne?

Wasn't it AWESOME when Kim bageled Venus yesterday? It was pretty much the second most wonderful thing Kim's done since bringing a life into this world.

(In other words, can't wait till Melbourne. After all, it went so well for me this past year for the women's draw )

LOL!

I'll actually be fine if Flavia beats Serena. I want Kim to win this event now, and the Kim/Flavia matchup, if it happens, kind of falls into "anything you can do, I can do better" territory for Kim.

But Serena, unfortunately, is in a really nice zone right now. Earlier than usual as majors go for her. But maybe that's a bad omen. We'll see.

I think Serena is going to clobber Pennetta's second serve.

I have been waiting (and hoping) for a new WTA GS winner all year. Right now my dream is a Wozniacki-Pennetta final.I imagine it to be super-competitive. Go Caro!!

Did it compare to the Rosie Perez one? I'm at work, so I'm not watching.
