They could have given Novak the evening session instead of James. Novak playing an American also.

Blake - Robredo

It has one positive, I'll be able to go to bed early.

Mhmm. No, I'm sure James will give them a thrilling 5-set loss, but I just wouldn't be hopping for joy if I had Saturday night tickets (the CBS effect, as Miles pointed out).

Andy R - Isner would have been perfect, I guess. The problem is I am not sure Andy would want to play that late.

First Dinara drama and then Blake... well at least there is a chance these matches may turn out to be very close... in a bad sort of a way.

I'm thrilled with the night session because I want to see Blake lose. and with a little luck, I might manage to spill beer all over the jblock.

Not according to the schedule posted as a sticky. CBS is only showing day matches Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Saturday/Sunday night matches appear to go to Tennis Channel.

ESPN2 picks up Monday night.

(Please tell me usopen.com is streaming all weekend, since I don't get TC and my local CBS station tends to show the Jerry Lewis telethon all day Monday.)

Actually that is the exact reason the night matches will suck thru Monday. CBS has first dibs. Why else do you think Fed-Hewitt is on at 11AM? If that match took place at any other time besides the middle weekend, it would be a night match. Same for Roddick-Isner.

I'm sure CBS even had a hand in determining which side of the draw played on each day. As of now, they get Roddick/Fed/Sharapova on Saturday and Monday, while the Williams Sisters take over on Sunday.

Now I get it. That's why the day matches are so good.

I don't mind seeing Safina. There's been so much drama in her first two matches that I would enjoy more drama or seeing her finally pull it together.

Blake/Robredo is literally the last match I would watch.

Moose and Scotty,
What did the announcer do to have Kim bursting out in laughter?
