If you think your players actually have chances, I'm not sure I want to be there to see you disappointed.

You two should have a civil war cheering battle during Vera vs. Anna.

Well, that is really pessimistic of you. I would like to think highly of my favs chances. Until the first ball would be struck that is.

"A pessimist is just a well-infomed optimist"

I'm actually totally selfish and want to be at Safin's last slam match, and I don't have tickets for Friday, so,,,

Is it okay, Madame, if some of us root for Chardy?

You know what Dry ? I love Chardy. But I love Gaël too, I really do. So may the best win, root for who you want, but I do think Gaël can go much farther. :bleus:

You know, US Open always has horrible draws for my frenchies ...

Today's matches are just unfair. I wanted Chardy and Ritchie to go much farther ...

There are 8 women from the US in the second round which is remarkable since the #3 US woman (Oudin) is ranked #70. That's only 1 less than the 9 Russians left.
