Sharapova has shown no form whatsoever. Her odds should be tied to her current ranking.

Yes, but that would be taking a huge risk. What if she somehow wins (has happened before) and you have to pay out thousands of people 50-1 odds? It could mean end of business for some smaller firms...

I forgot lots of money is changing hands.

But, still, she has no chance. At this point, I'd be surpised if she made it past the second round.
