Actually, I think it's a really spectacular film, though very dark. It spans three vignettes related to the impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic... One is about a blood products buyer/seller in China, the second is about a straight porn actor in Canada (Stockard Channing plays his mother), and the third is about three nuns in Africa (one of whom is Olympia Dukakis). |

Well, NBC Nightly News has explained it all. John Yang reported that Venus played with a bad knee, but made no excuses.
Apparently nobody told him about how she'd been playing the rest of the tournament. I mean, having your knee wrapped only means one thing, right? I know her knee is vulnerable, but I've heard nothing this fortnight (love that word) that the wrap was anything but preventative. |
