Default Venus/Serena WHO YA GOT?
Here we go again. 4th Wimbledon Sister vs. Sister final, 11th Slam contest, and 21st match up of their careers.

This is actually their 5th match at Wimbledon, as aside from the 3 previous finals, there was a semi in 2000. 2-2 at Wimbledon. They are 6-5 (Serena) at Slams, 10-10 overall.

We all know their games, their strengths and their weaknesses. Picking a winner anymore tends to be more about a gut feeling than anything more specific, at least to me. And with how they both got through their semis (Serena winning the match of the tournament in an epic near 3 hour battle, Venus flat out embarassing her opponent), I don't think you can say that one's form or matches up to this point, give you any hint of who takes this one.

I'm rooting for Serena, but I think it will be Venus in 3.

Exactly. I've been going with Serena this whole tournament, but watching Venus' interview makes me hesitate. She's focused and wants to win.

Uhh... I don't know!

I'll stick with Serena. In three.

btw, it was, indeed, "bring the tough V" and not "Feet," Charlie. Not sure why the people who transcribed her interview messed that part up.

and I refuse to vote. Superstitious and all that

I'll take The Goddess on the Mountaintop (burning like a silver flame...) in straights.

Vee in 2. She's looked better than her sister this fortnight. Though if anyone can exploit whatever's wrong with her knee, Serena can.

Everyone knows how I adore Serena, but I had to go with Venus in two. She's just been playing lights out tennis this fortnight and I don't see anyone defeating her - not even little sis. However if an upset occurs, I'd be overjoyed for Serena to win her 3rd Wimbledon - it would have taken 6 years!

Their 21st meeting. All I'll say is that in numerology, the number 21 is the number 3.

I think Serena...until Venus gets a little "Terror Fabulous" herself and wants to be in the Wimbledon rareifed air.

Which she just might do...

With that being said, I still say Serena but it's just too close to call.
