Great set of quarters. Lleyton - Andy should be epic.

Part of me thinks Haas can beat Novak, but the other part of me knows he'll find a way not to, as has been the story of his career.

Great run so far for El Mosquito. I think it ends here though.

Federer - Ivo will be a snoozefest and a dangerous game for Roger.

Absolutely. Personally I hope Roger wins in 3.

I honestly think all of these matches will be over in straight sets, with possibly the exception of Haas/Djokovic.

I've watched almost all of Ferrero's matches to this round. He has produced the kind of tennis that can beat Murray if he's able to produce it for three more sets.

I was amazed by his performance against Gonzalez. Simply amazed.

Murray seems vulnerable to me. He usually proves me wrong, which isn't that hard to do, but I'm probably more interested in that quarterfinal than any of the others.

And who do you think will dispatch the other in straigths, Lleyton o Andy?

I'm going with Andy. Lleyton's run here has been highly overrated, IMO.

I think given their history that one has to at least go four.

Wouldn't it be something if we had Hewitt/Roddick - Ferrero and Haas - Federer semifinals? Like I said, it'd be like 2003 all over again.

I always thought Juan Carlos had a better all around game than his Spanish contemporaries. That's to say, I never considered him a clay court specialist, which is kind of a compliment.

Depends on Hewitt's body. If he's ailing, he won't win a set.

They should go straight to the tiebreak

1. Ivo must go. It's just the moral thing to do.

2. Re: Murray/Ferrero, I can't decide which is more likely--that Murray will cave to the pressure of the British press, or that Ferrero will not be able to sustain his form, which has been the case with him for years and years now.

3. Haas/Djokovic absolutely MUST go five. But Haas has the same risk as Ferrero... Chances are that his form will break at some point in the event, and he's running out of time to break down, so now seems like a logical time for a reality check.

4. As for Hewitt/Roddick, my condolences to the chair umpire. I hope Lleyton clocks Andy in resounding fashion.

LOL! Well, stupid me watched one of his matches at the USO 2 years ago, which changed everything, even if I was rooting for Calleri with the Argentines...

My last hope Ivo is. To a bounty hunter I have recurred.

I saw Ferrero against Simon, and he is looking SHARP.

Yoda must have the magic ability to see with his eyes closed. Which is what they were for most of Ferrero-Simon

(Ferrero was amazing in that match. But he won't win more than a set from Andy)

The Force, dear, the Force. Double fault for Haas I served out.

Next time, maybe a couple aces for Andreev instead?
