Guess what - Parra Santonja lost the first set to Sugiyama 7-6(5) but that is not the shocker to me as this is Parra Santonja still did not face a break point.

Karlovic, Roddick, Parra Santonja. Pick against the great servers at your peril.

Zheng went the strings of my heart. Dani's into the third round, after looking like she was going out in two sets on Monday. Nice recovery, I'm sure Manolo will be pleased.

Hantuchova takes out Zheng Jie in straight sets.

Have you ever listened to tennis play-by-play on the radio? It can be quite breathless. Check it out on Radio Wimbledon (you get traffic reports later in the afternoon, too!).

Lena D. best be careful today. This tournament is not being at all kind to last year's semifinalists. Looks like in about 20 minutes, Dementieva could be the only one of the 4 left in the draw.
