So the Williamses ended up on separate halves anyway. That's good, I guess.

Bethanie rarely catches break in the slams.

I like Elena's quarter, it looks like the weakest... But you never know.

Coulda been a lot worse than that. Stosur has been hot though. But her next couple matches could be decent with Ana struggling.

This has to be one of the more balanced women's draw in recent memory.

Jie and Tammy are are going to have real problems defending points, though.

Wickmayer plays as well here as she has this week at s'Hert, and she could put a real nice Slam run together. She's in the quarter section of the draw that has the best potential for surprises.

I can perfectly see her emerging from her section of the draw and meeting Elena in the fourth round, she can do it... and if someone beats Elena before they meet, I would be happy if she wins that fourth-rounder as well...

Since they're in the same 16th, one of them surely can't. I think Tammy T will win her first two (Schnyder on grass = pathetic), but Jie's gonna have to hope Dokic isn't fit, or she could be out quick.

Ah, Dokic's in the other half of the draw from Jie, Beau

I guess I'm still waiting to buy into the Dokic hype see if Jelena can maintain her AO form. She hasn't beaten a top 50 players since the Australian, and she's coming in nursing an injury.

How big is a chance of it taking place, though?

Given who they play, I'd say near 100%. Maybe I'll drop it down to 95% as a courtesy to Nadia.
