Default Nadal to play Exhibition Prior to Wimbledon
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/ten...ory?id=4259774

Saw this just a moment ago.

"I have kindly been invited to play the traditional exhibition at the Hurlingham Club on Friday, June 19," the Spaniard said on his Web site on Monday.

"It would be a good test for me to play there to see how the knee is doing, and it would provide the perfect setting to get some practice before Wimbledon.

"If I feel the recuperation is going well I will be more than happy to be there again. I hope that's the case."

Ooof, this doesn't look good. "If I feel the recuperation is going well ..." and this is just 3 days before Wimby starts.

How many times have we heard Rafa refer to an injury before an event and then he ends up coming out running around like a rabbit and totally decimates his competition?

Not saying it isn't legit... I'm just saying I wouldn't read TOO much into it.

I hope you are right.
