It's on the site now, Salmon:

http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/sc.../us/index.html

To save you the trouble, her first match is against 14 seed Melanie Oudin. A win there and she plays the winner of Castano/Babet. Then, likely, 2 seed Maria Elena Camerin to get into the main draw.
I think she just got trounced in the final of that Cagnes-sur-Mer challenger by Camerin, too.

Just in case salmon needed a side order of salt to go with his wound?

Guillermo Caņas just lost in straights to some italian called Lorenzi... when you lose in the first round of qualifying of the slam were you have had your best results, isn't it time to retire?

I'm inclined to agree, but Agassi came back! (I'm looking to see if he ever played slam qualifying midway through his career.)

Merely making an observation.

But yeah. Don't want everyone to get their hopes up too too much. Though salmon did admit to liking Camerin, too, so maybe when she makes the main draw, he won't be too too disappointed.

Nope. The lowest he was ranked going into a slam midway through his career was 87th at the 1998 AO.

He did play a few challengers at the end of 97, though.
