I suspect so, but I really hope not. In fact I'm hoping that for once JMDP can play well or even win against Federer. Clay may or may not help him?
JMDP has been doing much better than I thought he would so far.
gosh I hope you're right, but I fear a 3set beatdown.

Gonzalez trying to up his level to Söderling's. (I'd never have thought to be writing such a sentence, especially for a gs semi)

I hope he does 1 better than Verkerk in that case, afterwards he can do the same: i.e. drop off the earth

Söderling's bh is killing Gonzalez - break point again for Sod.
Fernando saves himself with good serving 5-4 second set

Gonzo hung on there by a thread. That one winner to save one of the break points was just on the line.

Söderling wins more of the +3 stroke exchanges, while short points are split evenly.

there goes the Gonzo racket... Sod serves for second set

Emanuel Joseph. Gonzo had a chance to break and take the second set and didn't. Crowd seems to want to get behind Gonzo.

BTW, Soderling's shirt makes it look like he's wearing a bra or a bikini from the back.
