I'm kind of suprised they put Serena and Sveta on the secondary court in favor of Cristea and Stosur.

Is it because Gael and Roger are a big enough draw to prop up any match?

Guess the FFT want to let each court have a marquee match

I believe this is in Romanian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHefL...layer_embedded

Not any different than I expected.

If I stay up until 4 in the morning to watch Serena, TC had better show her match, and not the Cirstea/Stosur one.

Didn't expect her to have such an annoying voice.

Thanks! That's what I thought too, but then I heard some commentators pronouncing the 'c' with an 's' sound.

Not that I wouldn't be rooting the same way to begin with, but especially given Monfils' behavior in the Round of 16, I hope Roger crushes him.

Crushes? Does that include dismemberment? Because then I can agree. "Crushes" does seem to suggest some degree of bits and pieces...

I love Gael, but yeah, I agree with the above sentiments.

Do we know if anyone is going to cover Monfils-Federer live tomorrow morning (in the US)? I don't think I have the tennis channel, sadly....

The Williams/Kuznetsova match is scheduled to be played starting at 8am EDT, but according to ESPN2's schedule, they're going to show that match starting at 12pm EDT, so I suppose that means Tennis Channel won't show much of it live

I think another reason for this could be that they want all potential finalists to play in Chatrier before getting to the semi, to get used to the conditions. Probably neither Stosur or Cirstea have played there yet, please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Match about to start... lunchtime here in Europe and Eurosport are showing it, great!

Sam has played on Chatrier against Dementieva and Razzano. Sorana, I don't think so.
